Affordable Care Act

by

I have my reservations about the Affordable Care Act. I would much prefer the liberal idea of single-payer health care to the conservative idea of the mandate.

That said, the ACA has improved access to preventative care, which means that people can detect problems early before they become expensive to treat, reducing the cost of health care throughout the system. The ACA has also improved health care access for young people, which means that those individuals can make the most of their opportunities, making decisions for advancement and development rather than being stuck at whatever dead end job they can land that has basic health care (or, more likely, going without).

For those interested in health care reform.
