Just because it gets better doesn’t mean people don’t try to make it worse.

Republicans are once again trying to make it harder for people to vote: reducing the availability of early voting, eliminating voting on the Sunday before election day, making it harder for students to vote when living at a dormitory and threatening fines to volunteers at registration drives.

From the article:

The Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law estimated that new laws across the nation “could make it significantly harder for more than 5 million eligible voters to cast ballots in 2012.” The new restrictions will “fall most heavily on young, minority and low-income voters,” the group said.

And these two are considered viable Republican presidential candidates.
